Automatic Torrent Downloader FAQ
This is the help section where you will
find out how to do certain things with Automatic Torrent Downloader.
Searching for a Torrent
Select Torrent Site:
You can decide whether to search your query for the show on one
of the sites or all of the sites. A quick note, Iso Hunt
will search for the torrent the fastest. Torrentspy will take
a bit longer, and Mininova takes the longest.
TV Show name, season,
episode:
Type in the TV show that you want to download, and choose the
season and episode you want
Quality/group::
This will find the quality or the group for your search that you specify only. E.G.,
choosing HDTV, will only find HDTV format only. Choosing eztv only find torrents with "eztv" in the torrent name.
Minimum and Maximum Size:
The size is very useful, most of the time, the TV show should be
350mb, there is not much of a chance hitting over 1gb, this is
way to large for a TV show episode and it could be fake.
Minimum Seeds:
Seeds are users who have finished downloading the file and are
distributing the file for others to download, in some cases the more
seeds the better.
Check Latest:
This will find the latest
episode that has not yet been released, for this to work a show name
must be entered.
Download On:
Download on allows you to
choose what day you want to search the query, this is useful because
most TV show torrents will start the torrent at the same day every week.
Check Time
This is the time that you would like to search the torrent.
This can be useful for a number of reasons, say you did not want to
download the show at a specific time because others want to use the
internet, or you know the torrent will not be available until the
time you specify.
Words Not to Include:
This allows you to filter out words very easily, all you have to do is
type in the word to filter out, click add and your done. No more
difficult filtering methods.
Finished?
Click on the add button, and it would be
added to the list on the right.
Check Now
If you have a TV show in the
list, clicking on check now will automatically check for the
availability of the TV show
If you have not realised yet,
upon searching for the availability of the torrent, the list
provides you with information of the different torrents found.
Clicking on one of these allows you to go straight to the website of
the torrent, right clicking and clicking on download, downloads the
torrent
It also always you to type in a word in the search box above the list, which it will filter all the torrents matching that word query
Shows listed on the right can
be paused, meaning it will not be checked. Reasons for doing
this is maybe you want to search and download it later.
Review
Type in the name, season and
episode you would like to find the review on
Get Review Button:
This will get the review
information for you, please be patient as it might take some time
depending on your internet speed. Once you click on the review
button you should be able to browse the different seasons and
episodes easily by changing the season or episode number or clicking
on the left and right arrows.

Checking this box will provide
you review information, if your internet is slow I suggest you leave
it unchecked. If you uncheck the box click on More info, this will
direct you to a site with the review information.
This will provide you with
feedback information such as if a site is down, if your not
connected to the internet, the time that a torrent query was taken
and so on
Options
Check Torrent Query Every:
How long you want to check the
search query
Stop Checking After:
If something were to go wrong
such as the site is running very slowly, stop checking after will
gather all its search results up to the time you specify it to stop
checking
Time To Check:
This is the time you want to
check the search query, reasons for enabling this is if you do not
want to download a torrent at a specified time
Yes, but in order to get it working, make sure you are running the program as administrator, to do that:
1. Right click the automatic torrent downloader shortcut
2. Click on properties
3. Click on compatibility
4. Under Privelage level, check run this program as adminitstrator.
5. Click ok, when you open the program it will prompt you to run as adminstrator click allow, and your done

2. Click on Options.. (top)
3. Click on preferences
4. Click on downloads
5. Check the box "Put new downloads in" (top)
6. Browse where you would like your downloads to go by pressing the top button "..."
7. Uncheck the box "always show dialog on manual downloads".
8. Click on apply then ok

2. Click on Options.. (top)
3. Click on preferences
4. Click on disk
5. Check the box "Set defualt download folder"
6. Browse where you would like your downloads to go by pressing the button ("..." ) at the end of the checkbox
7. Click on apply then ok

3. Click on preferences
4. Click on tasks
5. Check the box "Do not prompt when add new task"
6. Click on ok
